I will add, in my personal case, I went to an energy worker for a healing and I didn't get healed but as time went on I found that I kept running into just the right things that helped me heal myself over time. It was a case of me needing to get all these little things knocked out which were culminating into the major problems I went to get healed from in the first place.
So in a way, I got healed at that one session because my subconscious was kicked into gear to help me uncover everything I needed to see, and gradually I was restored to overall mind/body/spirit health, which was more than I was asking for originally.
