Faerie understand more about love than their human counterparts. They feel these kinds of emotions more acutely than we do. They also tend to express love a little differently than humans. they can express their affection physically - when i am in contact with my guides they can case and experience physical sensation, but their is a much deeper dimension to it that can be difficult for some humans to return. The idea that a being who gave birth to their entire race cold suddenly feel something she had never felt before and be changed forever by her faerie mate is a powerful one.
A few other things to keep in mind about this kind of relationship;
1. Once the energy bond i mentioned is formed you are a part of them, and they of you. This is not just what the poets like to think they have found. Anything that effecst one of you will affect the other(s) and is deeply felt. This is why if you are going to get into this type of relationship you have to be seriously loyal. Any selfish actions can cause serious harm and will affect you as well.
2. The emotions connected with this bond can be overwhelming at fist. The emotions and sensations felt during the act of initiating the bond are extremely intense and pleasurable. After the bond is formed a human may continue to experience emotions they have never felt before, and cannot even begin to describe. This is normal and will feel more natural in time.
3. You probably won't be the only one. Most Faerie are polyamorous. They will likely form this bond with others if they have not already. Most of their other mates will likely be Faerie, but not always.
