I saw a psychic not even a week ago, before this all happened. She used reiki and told me that I am basically never in my knees. On a good day my energy goes down to my knee caps. This totally made sense because I've always struggled with being connected to my body. She also helped me better understand my being empathic, and how grounding is especially important for empaths. Since then (5 days) I have taken about five minutes a day to do a grounding meditation, as well as focusing on keeping my feet flat on the ground while sitting.

Any info or advice would be a huge help! I wasn't really able to find any info about the signs that your root chakra is opening. It would be awesome if it manifested that quickly! Thanks for reading!

who were you sitting next to? who did you go with?
something of the same nature happened to me a few times as i was connecting to others near me. the migraine thing happened when i chorded to individuals that overthink and over worry.

You can help the grounding process by your diet as well. beginners like to eat unhealthy burgers and such from fast food places. but the healthy avenue would be to eat more raw veggies. any leafy or ground growing veggies will help a lot.

Most important thing to remember is you have nothing to fear and to allow the processes to happen. as you grow into feeling your body in a heightened way i would suggest to start paying attention to you thoughts and emotions.
Learn to separate what is truly yours and those you speak to on a daily basis. learn to not empathize all the time with stories and situations your being told about as you will connect and absorb emotion and energy from that person you're empathizing with. Or learn about purple flaming and putting up bubbles to block unwanted energy absorption.

When i get headaches i usually send my consciousness there and can tell immediately if its a result of me or another and i surround it with the purple flame or i breathe it out through third eye or down through root. Both work but i flame for others and root for my own issues. I've only had to use my hand chakra once to heal intense headaches and over worry i absorbed from a close friend of mine.
