In
exercising, as in many other processes, the 80/20 rule applies:
for many outcomes roughly 80% of consequences come from 20% of the effort.
For example, for cardio a brisk walk of 20 minutes a day, most days of the week, is enough. Doing it more doesn't add a significant cardio benefit. Walking faster than that, or running won't do more, and may even be bad for your articulations. Brisk walking longer than 20 minutes won't do more either.
