Lesser banishing ritual was one of the first things I tried. Did nothing to stop my attacker.

The only thing which made any difference was to heal its hate for me -- in whatever the equivalent of its heart chakra is, since it doesn't even have an energy body...

I'm currently investigating whether minimising dark energy in my energy body inhibits the initial attack.
