It sounds very likely. Even though you've come to realise that you have been treated poorly, I would work on forgiveness so that this doesn't weigh you down.
Writing down:
1. who did this
2. what did they make you feel? (Pride, finances, security etc)
3. What was your part in it. This can be small such as you didn't walk away when you should have or you should have been more compassionate.
