yes hehe. well what i gathered,

and ill link a sight that really fills in some gaps for me on this whole subject matter

what i gather about shamanism is that they pretty much dive right into the spirit world (underworld) and gain insights from spirits.

i have spoke to many spirits although im pretty new at it i have the feeling most of my revelations back then were from spirit, weather it be demons, angels, higher self, and other types of entities, they teach.

another aspect about shamans is something called shaman death. some burry themselves for 36hrs to induse it. near death experiences are also a shaman death or what i think is when you go through something that makes you suffer mentally being in a terrible abusive relationship can be a shaman death.

when you come out of this you are much wiser and pick up some gifts along the way. the life of a shaman is not one i would yearn for bc pain will be your growing tool and spirits your teacher, and well we like to have a human guru to comfort us and the spirits... they can seem absent at times and are not always there to comfort bc like a mother bird pushin you from your nest they see the bigger picture.

hope this helps please any interjections are appreciated bc i may be wrong this is all guess and check for me.
