Do our friends in the etheric celebrate Christmas and other festivals? Without any doubt some will, just as some here in the physical do - and others don't. 
But 'spirit' isn't just one homegeneous item; individuals are at different levels of spiritual evolvement - rather similar to how it is here!
Those who understand the role of the Nazarene, Jesus, here in the physical will view Christmas somewhat differently from those who don't. When those who don't pass over to the etheric they may take with them much the same beliefs so at Christmas they may wish to celebrate as they did in the physical.
Of course booze, over-eating, over-spending etc. won't be possible so things can't be exactly similar to what they did here!
