I don't know why TP is still so unknown even among LMT ? It may have to do with it being something you can do on your own with racket balls at lacrosse balls so anything that can be done at home gets swept under the rug? Idk.
A good thing to add to your trigger point is myofascial release so that the TP doesn't return as quickly but unfortunately I see so many LMT that say they are doing "myofascial release " but it's just a painful deep tissue . The fascia has the tensile strength of steel and so rubbing it fast is only going to make the client scream lol but it also has creep just like your ligaments do so the way you get it to release is by going sssllllooooowwwww and man you will feel like you upgraded your body when you are done you can feel the increase in mind muscle connection and range of motion it increased by alot as well.
