I am a tree lover, loved the part of the article about the bistelcone pine. There's 2 more trees that come to mind. The Eastern white cedar, and the ginko tree. Where I live I see many white cedars that are very old ,weathered, and short. They are a natural bonsi.

You seem like a Tree expert cause you have knowledge of the various types of trees there is. I only know the common Oak tree by name.
