A true artist who inspired a whole generation of people and the music of the time. An inspiration to all the artists who followed as well.
Although I wasn't really a huge fan, many of my generation were. I grew up with David Bowie's music (and Depeche Mode and Gary Numan), but David will always be the master.
He died as he lived - surprisingly.
My fave Bowie song: Life On Mars.
