Hi there!

Weight issues is something I have struggled with a lot in my life, so I know where you are coming from. I am still on my weight loss journey.

My advice: Nothing wrong with Fitness Pal, but have you ever heard of Spark People? This is a site that has helped me so much. Plus, there are lots of free exercise routines, ongoing challenges, and things that actually make weight loss kind of fun. I use it all the time.

If you have any questions about what/how many calories to have, there are lots of message boards and people to ask for advice on there. But like the other posters say on here, their advice is true. It's always best to see a doctor or nutritionist first before starting out on your journey.
