Trembling I looked at her and she at me
Welcome good traveler, as she fluttered by
I could not believe my ears nor my eye
She was friendly and oh so nice!
Pleased to meet you I stumbled and stammered
She just smiled and took my hand
So radiant, kind, and whimsically wise
We just sat there all day looking into each other eyes
I was with her and she was with me
It was truly a fairy tale come alive!!
And it was I realized
Fact or fiction
It left me feeling
More alive!
And then I awoke with a smile and a groan
The sun was going down as I arrived home
I acknowledged once again
What a strange forest
Faries and butterflies.

I've not met such a creature before....
though I have heard stories about fairy lore
Mermaids frequently swim through my mind.
Perhaps in time a fairy might fly by.
