Essential Oils Toxic to Pets

I just started using essential oils in a diffuser/humidifier to help with my sinus headaches. Eucalyptus worked very well. Then I got lavender and peppermint. Hubby just told me that eucalyptus oil can be deadly when cats come in contact with them, even if inhaled. Now I'm really worried that my cats might get poisoned. I have tea tree as well. All the above mentioned essential oils are toxic to cats and other animals. I am limiting my use of essential oils. Are there any essential oils safe for cats that can be used for headaches?

Lavender, Tea Tree Oil, Orange or Lemon Oil, and Eucalyptus are all pleasant and useful to humans for their various medicinal properties. Unfortunately, these same oils pose danger for cats and other small house pets.
