Principles of Prayer by Charles Finney

Charles lived between 1792 and 1875 and is known most for his contributions to the Second Great Awakening in the 1830's. He was involved in the abolitionist movement, and was the president of a university known for being the first to accept women and African Americans students alongside white men. I feel he was so ahead of his time.

I was told to read this book by Charles Finney himself, and I'm glad I am doing so. It's such an easy read, and a lot of it makes sense in a no nonsense kind of way. He helps you understand how you should pray, how you should stand on your faith, and how to grow a stronger connection with God.

Has anyone else read this book? If not, try picking it up and I think you'll enjoy it as well.
