It seems like you're confused about the whole thing.
In Zen they say, 'Empty the cup.'
What that means is that you need to let go of your beliefs in order to let true understanding come in.
Keep it simple. It's okay to want more money, more success, or whatever else it is you want.
The way to manifest your desires is to accept yourself as you are and do what gives you joy. Have fun and enjoy your life. Do what makes you happy. When you're happy, you're in alignment with Source, and alignment with Source is how to manifest your desires.
