Last night I was thinking how I got to know about her, the medical specialist. Then I remembered, it was the family Doctor who 'did all he could" and then "threw his hands up" and said he could do no more. He claimed, people like me, went to a certain specialist and some of them had success with her. So I went to her. At that time, as far as I knew, there were no doctors specializing in environmental illnesses. shortly after the first visit, I found out she had written an array of books and papers that were very helpful.

She practiced for many decades. It was till only recently that her critics finally "got to her". They weren't able to do her in but they did leave an impression.

Her critics would say such things as chemical sensitivities do not exist. Cigarette smoke can not hurt somebody. Products that have formaldehyde will not cause any problems and the list goes on and on. I could see where they were coming from but I know how I became chemically sensitive and I know I haven't been that way for several decades. As far as I am concerned, she "healed me".
