Eggs.. an interesting topic in veg diets
I agree with you on the eggs. Obviously the mass production of eggs is problematic by itself due to animal ethics. But say you have your own chickens or buy/get eggs from someone else who owns chickens (provided in both cases the production is not intensive) then what's the ethical concern? Many hens lay eggs daily, some will even lay them in winter. If you skip a couple of days they won't just stop laying eggs.. there will just be more and more..
Having said that, I don't eat eggs any more.. at least not cooked or baked. I find the smell very off putting. I still eat products that contain egg though, such as brownies.
