I'd like to add that sometimes love requires you to attack another person. Some people are caught up in destructive thoughts or behaviors or ego guards, and to help them come back to shared reality requires you to attack their defense systems.
I always thought it would have been much kinder if people attacked me, rather than just trying to be soft with me.
