Hello Everybody
Hi everyone,
My name's Soul Renew, but you can call me Soul or SR.
I decided to join this forum because I'm currently struggling with a spiritual winter, the dark night of the soul, which started in 2015.
I get tired so easily, even from reading and talking, but it was way worse when it started.
The storm is not so harsh for me now because I have some energy now and again, but I am still not 'fully charged.'
I feel like a frozen fish inside a frozen lake on the inside, an empty well, I feel like I have no inspiration or motivation, no purpose...
I just feel so still...so dead...
But it's more than just depression, I'm trying to let go of control and just leave my heart, mind, body, and soul to God.
The more I struggle to hold on, the worse it is.
I am waiting for God, on His perfect timing, to bring spring within me...hopefully...
There is this song called 'Better Than I' from the movie Joseph Kings of Dreams and that song has really given me some peace.
The lyrics are perfect.
Please look it up if you're interested...
I also have social anxiety in real life and I find it hard to talk to people,
but I think the dark night of the soul is a great cause of it because the problem is feeling blank-minded when talking.
