Ignorance is bliss in certain cases (ie it's easier for some people not to wake up because that means they would have to go through emense change which is often painfull and challenging for them) Own and follow your own path (walk your own path and no one elses...do not worry if your path doesn't seem to fit in with the masses as you soul has its own unique plans and is likely to be on a different schedual to theres). Always allow spirit to guide you. . Allow others to take control of their own lives... everyone is where they need to be (ie do not constantly cater to the needs of others and do not get involved in their lives when it's not of concern to you. Similarly state your own boundaries to your friends, families and loved ones...(you have your own path and in most cases you know why you need to do the things you need to do...don't let others make your choices for you (you won't end up where your soul wants to go) This is particularly important when people are telling you what you should do, what you should be, what you should believe etc) This helps your throat chakra and assists you in developing a strong sense of self.
