Humans has no evolutionary path and neither does elementals. Saying otherwise would be like saying the wind can only blow in one direction. We might change the name of the wind depending on what direction it blows or in what speed it moves but at the end of the day it is still the same wind. We are all part of life, even those beings who call themselves god. We can go in any direction we want though at times we might be stuck in the patterns of life and human is nothing more than a physical expression, a pattern of life you can try out to see how it looks on your spirit. And if there are human on other planets/worlds they might not be anything like the humans of Earth or even call themselves human. We are all unique like the little snowflake journeying from the sky to the Earth and back again and labels like human, animal, elemental or what you can come up with are just road maps we put up to more easily distinguish between or recognize things if you ask me.
