Above all else, IMO, it's down to whether you share an authentic love for one another as people and as friends first and foremost. A mutual authentic love, where you desire & actively seek the highest good of the other, and for no other reason but their good. And then commit to one another in partnership.

Within the circle of belonging, authentically loving sex is good, healthy, and loving. Without authentic love, it's imbalanced and draining. It's always negative and misaligned, energy-wise. To a woman, it often feels like rape or coercion without authentic love and presence.

Regardless of the social status of the other.

Likewise, the same goes for one's friends...do they seek my highest good and can I count on them to truly look out for me? If this is the case, then you have a true friend.

Otherwise, you do not...and this may be a friend you relegate to an acquaintance so that you have more of yourself to give to those who do appreciate you and who resonate with you more deeply.

Peace & blessings
