As has been said so often in these discussions, there is a big difference between the intellectual understanding that Source or Oneness is all there is and the actual identification with Oneness.
It is like the difference between reading a menu and actually eating the food.
Identification with Oneness makes no difference to Oneness but it does involve a huge shift in Consciousness, and that shift comes through complete surrender.
