My sun sign is Scorpio; also have Venus, Mercury, Neptune and Jupiter in Scorpio.
There are two general misconceptions that come to mind. One, Scorpios are promiscuous or sex-obsessed. Most Scorpios I know are deeply loyal partners once committed. They take love and sex seriously, spiritually, and if they don't feel a connection with someone special, they can be celibate for years if they choose. Two, the stinger. Lower functioning Scorpios may hurt people because they can, but there are zillions more-evolved who consciously tuck that stinger in and take the higher road! This usually happens later in life, after they have realized how unproductive and even self-sabotaging the stinger can be. Just depends on where a person is at as far as comprehension about life.
