The point I was trying to make is that the religions that do require it seem to be over represented in cases of sexual child abuse. Ordained Japanese Buddhists are also generally not required to make a vow of celibacy either. I realize that being taking a vow of celibacy does not make a person a sexual deviate and by not taking one does not guarantee that they won't be one. But I do believe that by getting away from natural forces can't be good for you spiritually or emotionally.
