Why I practice QiGong, What I practice

Why I practice QiGong:
1)QiGong builds up energy in the Central Nervous System, in a cumulative fashion.
Every day is one where I experience a slightly higher 'peak' of energy.
2)Reaction time; I've played a game with each local 'Black Belt' holder from the
external martial arts set, and I react more quickly than they can.
I can dodge all of their attempts to contact me, or block their shots;
and they cannot block a light tap from me.
3)QiGong increases blood flow to the brain by 10%
One is healthier in Involuntary Central Nervous System function;
Has an increase in I.Q.;
Has an increase in memory;
and will not experience age related memory loss.
3)Tranquility: While I can perform at a high energy level, People who know me
say I am the calmest person they know.
4)Circulation: The blood is forced through each of the internal organs.
Stagnant blood in internal organs is believed to be the root cause of disease
in Traditional Chinese Medicine.
5)Soft and supple tendons: As they were in youth, they are in middle age.
I am limber; I have been stiff, it is inferior.

I spend 44 minutes a day practicing from the MaWangDui QiGong Poster.
30 seconds for each right and left handed position, one minute for each plain position.
There are 44 positions.
I have studied the Five Animal Frolics under a teacher, and have his DVD for follow up.
I bought the YMAA "Eight pieces of Brocade" DVD, but the slow pace has me bored.

In China the idea is taught as; Practice for 1000 days, then approach a teacher.
It will prove whether you are a serious student or not.
He will ask you what your practice accomplished in the interview to become a student.
Classes in China are free. Just limited in who can join.
