Hi there.
It takes a week or two for your brain to "tune in" to that frequency and I would recommend a reverse FM sweep at 200mg/s.
Also, recording it is necessary, because you will hear more on playback than you will with your naked ears.
Try asking specific questions, like holding up an item and asking the spirits to identify it, or getting them to say your name.
Once you know what you are listening out for, it becomes much easier to hear other things as well.
