So that modern women can kick crassy dudes without risking a lawsuit for "disabling" someone.
Also, it apparently reduced the duration but that's always something that can be worked on, not talking about chemicals but practice.
I wouldn't want it to be broken before I could even "use" it. Or breaking it first time because of a "malpractice".
All would be more or less the same, but that's more of guess.
