Sounds odd to me - let's make sure we're on the same page. You're talking about subscribed threads where you get an update email everytime a new post is made to the thread - not just threads where you've made posts? Because there is a difference - you can subscribe to a thread and never post in it.
I just want to make sure we're talking apples and apples :)
