Ya know, it's funny that you say this, because the other day I noticed I haven't had much contact with anything third eye related since switching to this toothpaste brand!! I was using Desert Essence Tea Tree but switched (just two months ago) because of the SCS, which is an SLS derivative, and was starting to have *ahem* reactions to all things carageenan.
I think you're correct though, a little bit of flouride isn't too bad and you're spitting it out...so long as you're avoiding ingesting as much as possible.
I've also used activated charcoal powder, a little on the toothpaste, but didn't notice any difference after a few uses so quit doing that. Plus, that powder is messy if you're not careful
