That's human nature... no matter how positive we want to be, those moments just make us feel negative and we start the vicious cycle of creating our own f*cked up reality. Meditation helps a lot with this... but ultimately is a matter of time and practice. You need to learn to let go and keep cold in those moments, it's a process and you'll get better with time. That's my experience at least
