Ha-ha, great reply. Very cool details there, nice. Yes, one has to understand Dark Age superstitions are mired in racist, sexist, paterarchial and/or fear-based belief-nonsense.

Now, as for animals seemingly appearing and disappearing... supersensible events happen all the time. Knowledge is understanding that supersensible happenings are quite real and can be investiged on a soul-spirit level. Which is an entirely different thing than belief in idle, mundane superstition. The cat for example could be any color and it could still be a supersensible happening. Meaning, the fact it is a black cat specifically does not portend an evil omen or some such thing.

It's the same thing as the difference between using astrology as a love-and-fame fortune-telling device (superstition), verses using it for birth chart purposes to work out planetary influences (soul-spirit knowledge).
