I think one can take any form or shape they want. I have read some that say there are those that just appear as a ball of light. If one wants to appear as a 10-year-old child even though they died at 104 they can. If someone died at 8 years old but wants to appear to be in their twenties in the afterlife they can. Heck, maybe a person might change their age of appearance whenever they want. Maybe will certain souls they might appear on age but with others, they may appear another age.
