I believe the heaven we attain is the forever increase in knowledge and becoming a better being, if you will. Leaving this earth is a sort of graduation and then its on on the next.
I don't mean to be simplistic about it, it's just that the more I stay out of the way of my life as it happens, I find it more and more manageable; like going with rather than against the flow. The sooner we learn that life boils down to very few meaningful things, the sooner we can enjoy it and hope that we take strides to think and question it through the many means available to us, as hokey as some of it is.
I truly hope that we live eternally, through an extremely long existence of one life after another, one building upon the next.
