Thanks to some of you for helping me to understand this issue better.
God still will never love us though even if you do have a personal relationship with it. That's just my opinion though.
I don't think we came up with the idea of god so that we don't have to take responsibility but I can understand the sentiment.
God is all around us. If you look at everything in the world it's obvious(at least to me)that something put it all there including us.
For me the problem comes when people(both religious and spiritual alike)try to attach human qualities to god and saying god loves us or is loving would be an example of that.
