I don't think Judaism should be left in the dust-bin. And I don't think Jesus wanted to make Christianity. I believed he wanted to reform Judaism.
I take it that Judaism doesn't read the Old Testament "literally".
I can not follow a man like Moses who killed and pillaged so much. Unless the story is about something else than the world is missing.
I wouldn't mind if you explained what Orthodox Judaism takes from the Exodus story.
Is it taken literally? Or is there a lot of symbolism and metaphor?
