I deliberately didn't mention Kardec..... I spent many, many hours with 'The Spirits' Book' when I first began to learn about the spirit. I also have 'The Medium's Book'.

I learned a great deal from the first book but it was actually about 'Spiritism' - the original request was for reading on 'Spiritualism'.

Moving on, I re-visited this book recently after another twenty years of learning about the spirit - and writing extensively about Spiritualism. I was struck by how dated the whole book feels.

Of course that doesn't mean the message it brings has changed, only that there are better ways, more modern ways, to get an introduction to Spiritualism.
