I recently had a very beautiful experience, as I was meditating I lost consciousness and when I woke up I was floating upwards this incredible beautiful white light that was making its way out of this blackness that had a purple shade. Another way to think of this is to imagine that the night sky is suddenly "opening itself" and light is coming out from somewhere beyond. The light was shimmering and it was very gentle to the eyes, almost irresistible, like I really wanted to enter into the Light, calm, peaceful, it felt like the next step to make.
