It's not a visualisation, it's the belief that different foods (also practices, lifestyles etc.) have different energies, some higher than others (so it's more a spectrum than all or nothing..). Think of it like frequencies of colours. It's no coincidence heaven isn't described as a place of darkness and blackness. And what fits better in heaven, the fruit from a tree or a freshly slaughtered pig that was in terror?
