Since early 2023 it's been acrylics only.
Before that I used water-soluble oils for some 13 years and on rare occasion acrylics.
I started out with regular oils but the vapours of that -plus having to wait at least a year for it to be really dry- made me switch to water soluble oils.
As for oils I much preferred the regular version as its viscosity was awesome to work with! I love to semi-blend and mix, going from one colour to another, play with light and dark in a fluent way.
With water soluble oils or acrylics this is way harder to achieve than with regular oils.
If it wasn't for the toxic vapours and having to clean brushes with turps I'd likely still be using regular oils.
