Most Hindus I would say are focussed on Dharma(righteousness), Artha(wealth), Kama (desires) , and a few are actively pursuing enlightenment.

James Donald Walters, also known as Goswami Kriyananda and a disciple of Yogananda, had interestingly stated that the 'kingdom of heaven' stated in Christianity was a state of God-consciousness and enlightenment.
