@ Ewwerrin ~ accepting, not negating everything, as it appears in our awareness, even if it be a mirage, looking without judging, without evaluating, the function of awareness itself escapes its confinement as containerised in mind-body apparatus. The stillness continuum entwines conscious mind* (*our sub-conscious already connects past lives memory and the superconscious mind is one with universal mind) with universal consciousness or the all-that-is.

Conscious mind is where belief of separate self is, likewise for the sub-conscious but with deeper knowing of accumulated learning from past lives.

In the no-thought meditation, identity recedes and one day drops off altogether. Ego in fact needs thought to ‘exist’.

So, we have our true being, the Self or the Atman on the one hand and the false ego or identity on the other. The direct recognition of Self answers partially Ramana’s inquiry ‘who am I?’ Then, we, meaning the Self, not ego, invites the light of Self to embody this form. Hence kundalini.

The kundalini generates bliss by entwining polarities in the body, churning away till the transformation takes place. It is a long process, perhaps unending. The integration fixates our attention in all-time meditation.

The knowing of something as a concept, say as taught in Advaita Vedanta points out to the truth but it does not take us there, whereas the kundalini is walking the terrain in lived reality, demolishing all concepts conjured by mind.

Now, perhaps we can get to non-dual awareness and hold onto that recognition without the kundalini energisation but it seems to be a tall order, in my view.
