Well yes, and I agree this is true.
I maybe should have said 'in my case' .
And we all have different degrees of what we are capable of.
For example I dream of have visitation dreams about many of my loved ones in spirit.
But I have never had a dream ( that I am aware of) of my twin sister ( died at birth) and my granddaughter ( died just a few days old) because I wouldn't know what they look like now.
Having said that , I know full well that they are still with me on a regular basis because they let me know big style !
