Please do first reflect on the situation that YOU would not be the one making contact with your loved one 'in spirit'. Any contact comes about because your loved one wants to reach out to you. She or he is the one who sets the ball rolling.

It's NEVER to early to visit an evidential medium but do remember there can be no guarantee of success. That applies the same even if you wait for weeks, months or years. For success your loved one must link with whatever medium you visit. Just as others have told you it's possible for that to happen very soon after they have passed over.

There's no routine reason your loved one would have work to do but it's always a very slim possibility she/he might have a special job to complete. It's also possible that there are so many exciting things to do 'over there', and so many folk to meet, that your loved one is engrossed in all that good stuff. So unless (s)he were the kind of person who couldn't be bothered with you in this life it's pretty unlikely (s)he will be that way after passing over.

I don't give advice but my suggestion is that if you feel it would help - even if you don't make contact immediately - then you should seek out a medium. Send your thoughts out to your loved one to let her/him know you'd love to hear from them. Keep your fingers crossed it all works out but be prepared for perhaps needing to try a few times.

My final suggestions are be positive and hopeful and don't be put off by anyone telling you you should wait. blessings
