The only one we have to prove anything to is ourselves, any other sort after proof is for ego validation to others. Reality is a matter of perception. But I do not view God as a “he” or “she,” as gender to me is part of duality and while God uses duality to create material forms, in its pure formlessness what I refer to as “GOD” exists in non-duality.
Speaking only for myself; the image of God is creation, a creation where we exist as human beings, while the likeness of God is within all that has been created. Within us there is a divine spark, which in my opinion is the likeness of God. This is just my perspective, and I am not trying to convince others to see things my way, as we all have our own perspective.
