Yes where beliefs aren't aligned to behaviour, it's just lip service i.e. not walking the talk....all too common! (Words are easy - being authentic requires motivation and application).

I'm a realist, so I also prefer dealing with that which can be verified (on some level, i.e. not necessarily scientifically) or /known/experienced to be true/real. When it comes to spirituality though, that tends to be very much a grey area! I try to steer clear of concepts that seem more mentally defined than backed up by anything known/experienced where possible.
