All I know is I'm not blind...yet I looked exactly where I hang a carry on luggage
and all around, (I was 42?)..and it was NO where, for one example.
A month later it was right in front of me in the garage ... lived alone.
Crazy stuff.
So I know what you mean op. 
I have no explanation for most nutty things that happen around me.
