Prior to reading the alchemist I read many books. Studied many fields.
None of them did the trick. But after reading the alchemist I’ve been studying myself and how I reflect onto the outer world. I study by watching and being present with everything. Even in the most mundane things I find lessons. Watching a bee collect pollen or staring at the clouds and how they are always the most beautiful right after a stormy and rainy day.

I find more valuable lessons in just being present in my days then I ever have from books or teachers. At the same time I still do read when I need specific knowledge. Like fixing electronics or replacing someone’s transmission. And even then I feel like I’m better off following instinct. Still making that transition to be honest
