Bird Landing On Bernie Sanders Podium
 

Was this a sign? Was nature (Wakan Tanka) endorsing Sanders? I like the look on Sanders face when the bird was perched in front of him. It was so refreshing from the sour faces I see in the Republican side. :tongue:

Well, it obviously is a sign.. Should also check out the symbolism meaning of the specific bird.

a USA Today webpage says:
"According to the Audubon Society, the podium crasher is a female House Finch."
i have not located any symbolic meaning for that bird.

It could be a sign but I don't know how to interpret it. I also thought that perhaps the little bird liked his energy? Bernie strikes me as a very gentle human being, and he absolutely adores animals (He plans on doing a lot for animal rights - something I've never heard from a presidential candidate!). Maybe that's it.

Either way, it was such a lovely moment.

I thought it was hilarious that he understood the symbolism of the bird, and started to say "this little bird doesn't know..." and right in the middle of that comment, she hopped right in front of him and looked up at him like, "think I don't??" Lol, so sweet...
